On November 3rd and 4th, ConTrust: Trust in Conflict, a research initiative from Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main, in partnership with DICO – Deutsches Institut für Compliance e.V. will host the workshop “Corporate liability for corruption and the relevance of compliance: A dialogue between Brazil and Germany”. 

The workshop is dedicated to the exchange of perspectives among practitioners and academics from Brazil and Germany on topics such as the frameworks of anti-corruption enforcement, the complexities of the prosecution of legal entities, the role of different institutions in this scenario and the impact of compliance programs in the mitigation of sanctions.  

Besides DICO, the event has as partners the Comptroller General’s Office of the State of Minas Gerais and the Brazilian Interdisciplinary Network of Corruption Studies (RIPC) and is supported by Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung.

The event will be exclusively online, via Zoom, and with simultaneous translation Portuguese-English to reach participants from both countries.
