Compliance in NGOs

Compliance is becoming increasingly important for NGOs and is no longer just an issue in the area of traditional corporate compliance. DICO has recognized this , addresses this development and offers NGO representatives a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience, as well as for the provision of relevant information and practical assistance for the establishment of compliance structures for the proper handling of relevant issues, especially in view of increasing increasing requirements on the part of the various donor organizations.

Compared to industrial companies, NGOs are confronted with particular challenges, especially due to their different form of financing and financial resources, their project nature and the highly regulated donor environment. The “Compliance in NGOs” working group would like to align the DICO concept (development of standards and assistance with practical implementation) with practitioners from industry, research and teaching as well as civil society, particularly for NGOs .
