Business partner compliance
The aim of the Business Partner Compliance working group is to develop work results that can serve as an aid for DICO members and can be used as a basis for further work. There are three main areas of work for this purpose.
a) Requirements for business partner checks
– Classification by business model
– Classification by risk group
– Why check and to what depth?
b) Data sources and how to handle them
– What are the data protection requirements (particularly strict in Italy and Greece, for example) for the evaluation of publicly accessible information on individuals and companies?
– What data sources are available internally (company, group) and externally (Internet, registers, fee-based data collections)?
– Which data sources can be used and how?
c) Risk analysis
– What criteria can be used to carry out a risk analysis?
