At the extraordinary general meeting of the German Institute for Compliance e.V. (DICO) on March 1, 2024, Dr. Anna-Maija Mertens was elected as a full-time board member as part of the “Fit for Future” program set up by the Executive Board and Board of Directors. DICO is thus entering the future with a stronger organization and staff. With Dr. Mertens, the association, which now has over 1,000 members, will take a much more focused approach to its strategic direction and present its positions in a more targeted manner in the political arena.   <\/p>\n

“We are delighted to have gained Dr. Anna-Maija Mertens as a full-time board member, who has many years of experience in association management and a large network in the political arena. The combination of honorary committee members from companies and consulting and a full-time board member, coupled with an efficient office, will enable DICO to be heard even better as the voice of compliance in Germany in the future,” said board spokespersons Dr. Christoph Klahold and Meinhard Remberg unanimously.<\/p>\n

“Being part of the German Institute for Compliance and leading the association together with my previous colleagues on the Executive Board is an exciting new challenge that I am very much looking forward to,” adds Dr. Anna-Maija Mertens.
