Chairwoman of the Board of Directors Stefanie Reichel welcomed over 200 DICO members to this year’s DICO Members’ Meeting this morning. She led through the meeting, in which the spokespersons of the Board of Directors, Dr. Christoph Klahold and Meinhard Remberg, looked back on DICO’s activities in 2023. They were supported by their fellow Board members Dr. Rainer Markfort and Philip Matthey. Dr. Anna-Maija Mertens – DICO’s full-time board member since April 2024 – gave an insight into her tasks and goals. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

This year, the committees were not only due for regular re-elections. The long-standing members and founding members Meinhard Remberg, Dr. Rainer Markfort, Dr. Ruth Schorn and Birgit Benz had already announced their retirement from the Executive Board and Board of Directors in advance. The Executive Board and Board of Directors paid tribute to the work of their four colleagues, who have all contributed to the successful development of DICO, and thanked them for their many years of cooperation.  <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

The following were newly elected to the Board of Directors: Dr. Rita Pik\u00f3, Dr. Iyad Nassif and Jan Schreiner. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Eva Bergmann and Markus Bamberger were appointed to the Management Board. At the subsequent constituent Board meeting, Dr. Marie von der Groeben was elected Board Spokeswoman and Dr. Christoph Klahold was elected Board Spokesman. <\/span>

\nDr. Anna-Maija Mertens was confirmed in office by the members for a further year. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
